Guest access

We offer self check-in: we provide an access code so you can arrive at the time you prefer (within the established hours), with no waiting, since we do not have permanent on-site staff. On the day of arrival we send detailed step-by-step instructions with your access code and the exact location of the keys/lockbox, so entry is easy. We remain reachable for anything you need during your stay.

Neighborhood

In downtown Cancun you will find an abundance of shops, restaurants, bars and local markets. Popular spots nearby include Mercado 28 and Mercado 23, with handicrafts, clothing, food and drinks. For culture and history, the downtown area offers attractions such as Parque de las Palapas, where festivals and concerts are held, and the Iglesia de Cristo Rey, a Catholic church with striking architecture. The downtown area is well connected to the rest of the city by buses and taxis. To visit the Riviera Maya, you can take a bus from the Cancun bus terminal (ADO), located in the downtown area.

Getting around

You can walk to some restaurants, shops or tourist places, other ways to move are:

Taxis: Taxis are a convenient and safe option for getting around the city. You can find them on any corner and they are relatively cheap if you move around the center, if they go to the hotel zone they go up in price. Be sure to ask the price before getting on and agree a price with the driver before you start the trip.

Bicycles: If you like cycling, you can rent a bicycle in one of the many rental shops in the city. Cancun has an extensive network of bike paths that connect the main tourist spots in the city.

Car rental: If you are going to rent a car you can park on the street outside the property and it is a good way to get around since the city is big.

Buses: Buses are an economical and practical option to move around the city. Cancun's public transportation system has an extensive network of routes that connect the city center with the hotel zone and other parts of the city.

Colectivos: The colectivos are small vans that function as public transportation and travel along the main highway of Cancun. They are an economical and practical option to move around the city and its surroundings.

Other things to note

Please note: this is an active downtown area and the surrounding building/lot may have ongoing construction at times. The unit is in a condominium with shared areas, so some noise is possible (other guests, animals or traffic). We do our best to keep stays comfortable. Before arrival, we request a photo of the official ID of every guest staying, plus signature of the condominium rules. Each guest must provide a valid official ID to authorize access. This keeps harmonious coexistence with neighbors and complies with building rules. Due to the humid climate and local vegetation, small animals or insects may occasionally appear. Please respect them and avoid leaving food out in the open. Your stay includes cleaning before arrival and after departure, plus basic welcome amenities (toilet paper, shampoo, soap and essentials). Extra cleaning or restocking during your stay is available for an additional cost. For the AC to work properly, keep doors and windows closed while it runs and do not set it below 21C.
