Guest access

Easy self check-in with your personal access code. Puerto Morelos can be tricky to navigate the first time, so before arrival we'll send detailed, step-by-step directions to the building plus your access code and parking instructions - please message us when you're on your way. The building has elevator access. You'll have full use of the unit and balcony, plus the shared rooftop infinity pool and gym. A team member is reachable by message throughout your stay.

Neighborhood

Puerto Morelos is a laid-back fishing town between Cancun and Playa del Carmen, known for its calm, sargassum-protected reef, fresh seafood and relaxed pace. You're right on the beach, and the charming downtown square - with oceanfront restaurants, cafes, dive shops and the iconic leaning lighthouse - is a short walk away. The famous Mesoamerican Reef is just offshore for world-class snorkeling and diving, and cenotes and the jungle 'Ruta de los Cenotes' are a short drive inland. It's the perfect base for a peaceful, authentic Caribbean stay with easy access to both Cancun and Playa del Carmen.

Getting around

A rental car is handy for exploring the Riviera Maya, and there's parking at the building. Taxis and rideshare-style options are available locally. Colectivos (shared vans) run along Highway 307 to Cancun and Playa del Carmen for a low fare. Downtown Puerto Morelos and the beach are within walking distance. Cancun International Airport is about a 30-minute drive north, and Playa del Carmen is roughly 30 minutes south. The ADO bus and the Tren Maya connect you to the wider region.

Other things to note

Before arrival, we require a photo ID for every guest and a signed copy of the condominium regulations - this authorizes access to the property and lets us send your check-in details and directions, and helps us keep good relations with neighbors.

Good to know:

• The rooftop infinity pool and gym are shared building amenities and follow building hours and rules.
• Puerto Morelos sits behind a protected reef, so the water is usually calm; like all of the Riviera Maya, the beach can still have seasonal sargassum (seaweed) at certain times of year.
• You may come across local wildlife (birds, geckos, the occasional insect); please avoid leaving food outdoors.
• Your stay includes one cleaning before arrival and one after departure, plus basic welcome essentials. Additional cleaning or restocking during your stay is available for an extra fee on request.
• For the air conditioning to work properly, please keep doors and windows closed while it's running and avoid setting it below 21°C.
