Welcome to Casa Sol, a beachfront villa and the perfect base for your Tulum getaway. The villa sits right on the sand, so the ocean is just outside your back door. Spend the day lounging on the beach, relaxing in a hammock, or cooling off in your private pool.

Layout (sleeps 12):

• 4 bedrooms total: 2 with king beds, 2 with two queen beds each
• One bedroom is in a separate casita with an en-suite bathroom
• Both upstairs bedrooms in the main house have oceanfront balcony access
• 4 bathrooms

Capacity note: maximum 12 adults. Any extra guest is subject to a 50 USD per person per day fee, at the property's discretion and only if notified before arrival.

Guest access

Self check-in with a personal access code, so you can arrive on your own schedule within the established check-in hours. We do not keep permanent staff on site, but our team is available by message throughout your stay for anything you need.

Neighborhood

Casa Sol sits in Tankah, a quiet coastal area between Akumal and Tulum, known for its calm beaches and laid-back atmosphere.

Within walking distance you'll find local restaurants serving authentic Mexican cuisine and fresh seafood, plus small shops for souvenirs and handcrafts.

Nearby: Tankah cenotes, Akumal turtle beach, the Tulum archaeological ruins, downtown Tulum's restaurants and nightlife, and the wider Riviera Maya are all a short drive away.

• Downtown Tulum: about 11 miles (roughly 30 minutes) south
• Cancun International Airport (CUN): about a 1.5-hour drive

Important: the access road to the property is unpaved. A car is essential to explore the region, and a 4x4 is strongly recommended during the rainy season (July to November).

Other things to note

Guest registration: before arrival we will request a clear photo of the official ID of every guest staying at the villa, plus a signature of the community/property regulations. This is required to authorize access and keep good relations with the Tankah community.

Power note: occasional temporary power interruptions can occur due to weather conditions in Bahia Tankah; this is normal for this remote beachfront area.

Local wildlife: you may come across birds, raccoons, local dogs and small animals (geckos, spiders, the occasional scorpion). We care for the environment, so please respect them and avoid leaving food outside.

Included: a cleaning before arrival and after departure, plus starter amenities such as toilet paper, shampoo, soap and basic essentials. Additional mid-stay cleaning or restocking is available for an extra fee.

Air conditioning: to keep the A/C working properly, please keep doors and windows closed while it runs and do not set it below 21 C / 70 F.
