What worked: fairly communicative hosts, beautiful views, secure neighborhood Things that needed attention: checkin instructions were unclear and we had to wait 40 minutes just for a very rude concierge staff to let us in. While the hosts tried to help, they asked for random inconsequential info which made no sense and we ultimately had to figure our way in. The bathroom was clogged multiple times during our stay and the hosts tried to help by sending a house-help who only cleaned up but didn’t fix the issue. Ultimately we had to take matters in our hands and use a plunger multiple times. Not a big deal but not something we had planned to do on a vacation. The place also had a persistent pungent smell near the bathroom area which made me reconsider my decision to book this place. In the end, they offered us a bottle of wine for the inconvenience (which we declined) because all we needed was a solution not empty words or wine.

Perfect stay for my partner and I. Very spacious studio apt with an amazing view of the city and monument. With the windows open and the fan included the room was very comfortable. During the warmer part of the day it could get stuffy with everything closed. I would recommend this Apt. to anyone looking for a stay in CDMX.

The building and area were perfect for us. It was walkable (for us) to Polanco, Roma. Place was spotless. The hosts gave me good recommendations to eat while we awaited check-in.

Top features of this Airbnb was the view. It’s in the middle of Reforma so I was able to walk to the nearby local markets and food stores. The building needs to be scanned it and everyone needs to be registered so it added to the security. I had an issue with the toilet clogging and the host responded quickly to have it resolved. This place has a toilet that you can’t throw toilet paper in. I was not aware of this until the toilet clogged. I will say once I found that out it was difficult to not throw toilet paper in the toilet, this is something that you don’t realize is such an automatic response until you have to not do it. But keep in mind this means there’s a garbage can for you to put your toilet paper in and it doesn’t get flushed. Other than that place was great and amenities were accessible.
